Frisch's Big Boy

Frisch's is my favorite place to eat in Port Clinton. Try the Big Boy! Starter sauce on a burger? It totally works! Could be because they have the best tartar sauce I have ever had. We took a jar home for us and one for a friend. We have been treated to a Lake Eerie view seat almost every time we have visited. Last time we were there one server was waiting tables and the manager was helping her. The service? Still excellent, all be it a smidgen slow getting our orders taken. The food came quickly, drinks were refiled, and the check at an appropriate time. It is not what you would expect from a burger place. The salad bar, sit down and service style with pay up front, but I love it! We haven't been forgetting breakfast or dinner. Next visit!

Great view of the Lake! Plenty of seating and cute memorabilia. Food was good for a Great price! Nice family style chill place. Too bad most are going out of business! Brooklyn was great!

Very clean and the food was great the only thing that could have been better was if the server would have asked if we wanted dessert before they gave us the bill

Started out a bit slow like they'd forgotten about us, but I think it was just really busy right then. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Food was delicious and filling! The one problem was the mac & cheese my son and I ordered was obviously a precooked container from the fridge that got heated in the microwave and, unfortunately, didn't get quite heated!! Lukewarm and plain cold in part of the bowl! Otherwise,....nice dining experience.

Was riding through from toledo to Cedar Point and stopped in for a quick breakfast. The place was only about half full, and I was seated and helped very quickly. My waitress was very helpful and checked on me a great many times throughout my meal. Anything I asked for, she handled very quickly for me. At one point I crossed the restaurant to take a picture of a cool Big Boy clock on the wall, and was told a little bit of the background of it from a man I assume was the manager, but I'm not 100% certain there. All in all, it was a nice little breakfast stop; The food was good, my booth and dishes were clean, and the people were very hospitable.

I stop at every Big Boy I come across when I travel. This was the most friendly, but with a terrible waitress. Food was ok. I asked for extra pickle and mayo and didn't get it. Didn't get refills or extra napkins.

Food was really good and the service was very nice, however I dont think there wasn't an assigned waiter so there was a different one coming to check on us sometimes. Outside and inside looks very dated and could do with a makeover. But overall good food, so would come again.
